The Witch’s Bakery has launched its first playable demo on Steam, giving players an early taste of its magical, emotion-driven adventure ahead of Steam Next Fest.
Developed by Sunny Lab in partnership with Silver Lining Interactive, the cozy bakery RPG invites players to explore Lunne’s Parisian patisserie before the full game launches in Q2 2026. The complete release is planned for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, with physical editions available for select platforms via Silver Lining Direct.
Step Inside Lunne’s Magical Parisian Bakery
The demo introduces players to Lunne, a joyful young witch who has just opened her bakery in modern Paris. But Lunne’s talents go far beyond kneading dough and perfecting pastries. She possesses a rare magical gift: the ability to see into people’s hearts and heal their emotions through enchanted baking.
Each in-game day unfolds across three distinct phases. During the daytime, Lunne manages her bakery, serves customers, and works alongside her friends to craft delicious, heartfelt creations. In the evening, she explores the vibrant districts of Paris, building relationships, uncovering hidden stories, and stepping into the emotional struggles of those she meets. At night, she rests, improves her magic, decorates her cozy atelier, and prepares for the next day’s challenges.
As players progress, they earn experience, money, and fame while forming bonds with new characters and helping them confront their inner turmoil.

One of the game’s most distinctive features is the “Heart Palace,” a magical realm inside each character’s emotional world. When someone’s feelings are locked away too tightly, Lunne ventures into this surreal space where emotions and thoughts take physical form.
Inside the Heart Palace, players uncover a person’s deepest struggles and guide their personified emotions back to the heart. The journey culminates in discovering the key ingredient needed to bake a special loaf that can heal the character’s pain. It’s a whimsical yet heartfelt mechanic that ties storytelling, empathy, and gameplay together.
