Streetlamp Studio took to the Future Games Show Spring Showcase today to reveal SlashZero, the company’s newest game.
The title is described as a “3D anime roguelike action platformer,” and is set to feature rich animations, a deep move pool, a procedurally-generated cyberpunk world, and more. Additionally, the game is being developed for a “Sim-Ship” release, meaning the simultaneous launch will feature performance parity across PlayStation, Steam, and the Epic Game Store. You can already wishlist the title on Steam, if that’s your preferred platform.

“With SlashZero, we wanted to push the boundaries of the side-scrolling roguelite,” Jun, Producer at Streetlamp Studio stated. “By investing in high-quality 3D animation and in-game performance with a simultaneous PC and console launch, we’re delivering a prestige experience that rewards skill with a visual spectacle.”
What is SlashZero about?
“In SlashZero, players step into the role of a Timehacker trapped in an ever changing time loop – a neon-drenched cityscape,” reads the plot description from the announcement’s press release. “You must find the true reason for the collapse of time, and break into parallel timelines to reset the course of history.”
