Xbox FanFest is expanding in 2026 as part of Xbox’s 25th anniversary, with Microsoft announcing a global tour that will bring the event to multiple cities throughout the year.
The celebration begins with the previously announced Xbox FanFest in Los Angeles alongside Xbox Games Showcase 2026 in June, but it will not stop there. Xbox says the FanFest tour will also visit Cologne, London, Mexico City, Seattle, Sydney, Tokyo, and Toronto, with more locations set to be revealed later.
Xbox FanFest heads to cities around the world
According to Xbox, the 2026 FanFest tour is meant to celebrate the players who have shaped the brand over the last 25 years while also looking ahead to the future. Each stop on the tour will feature in-person experiences designed to bring the world of Xbox to life, while giving fans a chance to connect with other players, developers, and creators behind Xbox games.
Xbox also said each FanFest event will be tailored to its local community, with different experiences planned based on the city and attendees.
Los Angeles leads the celebration in June
The first major stop will be Los Angeles in June, where Xbox FanFest returns alongside the Xbox Games Showcase 2026. From there, the tour will continue across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia as Microsoft marks the anniversary across multiple regions.
For players interested in attending, Xbox says updates on registration, event details, and local plans will be shared through the official FanFest website. Fans can also follow announcements and discussions about the tour on social media using # XboxFanFest.
More anniversary details still to come
Microsoft says it will share more information throughout the year as the company continues its 25th-anniversary celebration. With several cities already confirmed and more still on the way, Xbox FanFest looks set to be one of the company’s larger global community pushes for 2026.
