Stormind Games has announced that Akira Yamaoka, best known for his work on the Silent Hill series, will compose the soundtrack for Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy.
The collaboration brings one of survival horror’s most recognized composers to the next entry in the Remothered series, with Yamaoka shaping the game’s audio identity.
A New Sound for Red Nun’s Legacy
In a statement, Yamaoka said horror is not only about fear but also about what remains in the heart and memory. He said his goal with Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy is to create music that blends with the space and leaves players with a lasting feeling.
Stormind Games CEO Antonio Cannata called the collaboration a major moment for the studio and the Remothered franchise, saying Yamaoka’s work will help define the game’s sound.
Launch Planned for Late 2026
Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy is scheduled to launch by the end of 2026 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Physical editions are also planned for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5.
