Devolver Digital and Doinksoft have announced that Dark Scrolls will now launch on June 22 for PC and Nintendo Switch. The pixel-art fantasy action platformer was previously set for May 28.
The game blends scrolling platforming, shmup-style action, and roguelite progression across hand-crafted rooms.
Fantasy Platforming With Co-Op
Dark Scrolls can be played solo or in local and online co-op. Players can choose from nine characters, each with their own abilities and side objectives.
Combat includes axes, arrows, knives, and even steaks, all used against a lineup of strange enemies. Devolver also noted that one playable character is a rat who plays the saxophone.
