Coin Crew Games and iam8bit Presents have released a major demo update for Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School on PC via Steam. The update was announced during today’s Thinky Direct and lets players experience the entire first chapter of the upcoming puzzle sequel.
The updated demo includes an introductory course covering some of the escape rooms players will encounter early in the game, along with more of the open-world campus and puzzle-filled side quests.
Back to School With a Bigger Academy
Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School expands on the first game’s escape room structure with an explorable campus filled with hidden puzzles, traps, and secrets.
The sequel also introduces a new mystery tied to the school’s founding, with players uncovering revelations about the Academy itself.
Solo, Online, and Couch Co-Op Support
The full game can be played solo or with another player through online co-op or split-screen couch co-op. The game will launch in 2026 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, Xbox Play Anywhere, Xbox Game Pass, and PC via Steam.
