Side-scrolling Kirby Game Announced For 3DS

Capture

The biggest surprise from today’s Nintendo Direct: A new side-scrolling adventure from Kirby coming to 3DS in 2014.

A brief trailer showed Kirby running from left to right inhaling enemies and chopping things with his sword. Level design looks to lean into Kirby between paths in the foreground and background. At one point in the trailer an enemy knocks Kirby into screen.
