Konami’s DanceDanceRevolution Event Photoblog

Dance Dance Revolution goes back to my heydays in high school but Konami has allowed me to relive those memories through their first ever Dance Dance Revolution community event at the Royal T-Cafe in Culver City yesterday.

To mark the special occasion, DDR creator Naoki Maeda performed a DJ set for his fans. The community event also begins the launch campaign of DanceDanceRevolution for the PS3 as Jonathan (Megaclank) discussed earlier. On display for hands-on demonstration were also DanceDanceRevolution for the Wii and Microsoft Kinect’s Dance Masters which Maeda coined, “Very very exercise!”

We were there in style so check out our photo coverage of the event!

Skelattack has a unique concept and fun visual style, but its inconsistent controls and mixed dialogue keep it from being a particularly stand-out platformer.
