Gryphline is gearing up to launch Beta Test II for Arknights: Endfield, the next evolution of the Arknights universe, packed with revamped systems, new environments, and major story upgrades. The closed beta begins November 28 at 7:00 PM PT for PC, iOS, and Android, with a PlayStation 5 beta featuring the same content set to go live on December 12.
Selected participants can check their access through the beta portal or via emailed invitations. As with previous tests, Beta Test II will include a full progress wipe once servers close, with the end date to be announced later.
A Massive 50–60 Hour Test Featuring Rebuilt Storytelling & New Regions
Gryphline says the latest beta will deliver 50–60 hours of gameplay, marking the biggest and most ambitious test yet. Following extensive community feedback, the studio has rebuilt major sections of the game, including:
- A fully reworked narrative, complete with expanded cutscenes, new animation work, and choice-driven encounters.
- Wuling, a new explorable region blending traditional Eastern architecture with futuristic frontier design, offers a new look at Talos-II and its uncharted landscapes.
This marks the most substantial world-building update since development began.
Nine New Operators and Revamped Tactical Combat
Beta Test II introduces nine new operators to Endfield’s roster, including three six-star units: Ardelia, Last Rite, and Pogranichnik.
Combat has also undergone wide-ranging refinement:
- New combo skills for coordinated attacks
- Adjusted operator abilities
- Revamped boss mechanics
- Improved pacing and responsiveness across real-time encounters
These updates aim to push Endfield’s hybrid action-strategy gameplay into a more dynamic, team-driven direction.
Expanded Factory System and New Progression Features
Building on its AIC (Automated Industry Complex) from earlier tests, Endfield adds deeper base-building and utility options:
- Structure expansion and item crafting
- Photo Mode for environmental snapshots
- Teammate guidance to better track objectives
- Crate detection to help players gather resources efficiently
These systems strengthen Endfield’s blend of exploration, combat, and production management.
Cross-Platform Testing and Community Rewards
The new beta supports synced progression between PC and mobile when using the same account, with enhanced visuals and controls across all platforms. Supported languages include English, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, and Russian.
Players who pre-register can also earn community-wide rewards, such as:
- Basic HH Permits
- The five-star operator Snowshine
- Additional milestone bonuses once the global community reaches 5 million followers
