Two New Stages Expand the World
Late Check-Out introduces two new story stages that shift how players approach combat and exploration.
- Dusk Valley Golf Resort focuses on open spaces with long sightlines and constant enemy pressure
- The Former Grandall Estate offers tight interiors with close-range encounters and limited room to react
The contrast between these areas is designed to challenge players who have already adapted to the base game’s structure.
New Enemies, Bosses, and Combat Pressure
The DLC adds 17 new enemy types and two new boss encounters, each built around positioning, timing, and adaptation to different environments.
According to the developers, the expansion is meant to disrupt established combat habits and push players toward more reactive playstyles.
A Direct Continuation of the Story
Late Check-Out also expands the narrative with new sequences and cutscenes, offering more insight into the world beyond the hotel and its underlying themes.
The DLC builds on the base game’s focus on identity, control, and psychological elements, continuing the story rather than branching away from it.

For players new to the game, a Steam demo for the base version of Hotel Barcelona is now live. The demo includes updates and refinements from the recent Under New Management version but excludes DLC content.
