Mankibo and Akupara Games have launched Montabi today for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The creature-collector roguelike deckbuilder is available now for $19.99, bringing its full roster, campaign, city, and tactical card battles out of demo testing and into its full release.
Build a Team of Montabi
Montabi sends players into the streets to save the city by taming creatures, building a deck, and battling through each run.
Each Montabi has its own skills, giving players room to build team combos around abilities, equipment, and charms.
Tactical Battles on a 3×3 Grid
Combat takes place on a 3×3 battlemap, where positioning matters as much as the cards in your hand.
Players can evolve their Montabi into stronger forms, open new moves, and add more card options to their strategy. Trainers also matter, with each one bringing a different playstyle to the run.
There is one catch: if your trainer falls, the run ends.
22 Starters and 500+ Cards
Montabi launches with 22 starter Montabi and more than 500 cards.
Each evolutionary line has its own deck, giving players ample room to test different builds, team layouts, and battle plans.
Montabi is now available on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
