Akupara Games has announced the first Akupara Direct, a 30-minute showcase streaming Sunday, September 6 on Twitch and YouTube.
The presentation marks the publisher’s tenth anniversary and is planned as the first entry in a new annual event series.
New Reveals and Release Dates
Akupara Direct will feature multiple first reveals, along with release dates for previously announced games.
Indie curator AlphaBetaGamer will host the showcase. Full lineup details will be shared ahead of the broadcast.
Live Programming After the Show
The Direct will lead into a full day of live programming.
Akupara says viewers can expect developer play sessions, AMAs, and community segments running through the afternoon.
Ten Years of Akupara Games
Akupara Games was founded on October 5, 2016.
Over the past decade, the publisher has released nearly 50 independent games without outside investment, including Rain World, Cryptmaster, Grime, Mutazione, Desert Child, and The Darkside Detective.
