Fireshine Games and Lichthund have released an extended Food Truck Empire demo on Steam, giving players a taste of the economic strategy and management game ahead of its PC launch later this year.
Sign-ups are also open for a new playtest coming in September.
Build a Food Truck Business
Food Truck Empire starts players with one truck serving simple hamburgers.
From there, the goal is to build a larger food truck business across multiple cities by creating recipes, serving customers, and chasing better reviews.
Customize Trucks and Cooking Workflows
Players can change truck colors, add stickers, and use their own drawings to personalize each vehicle.
The game also lets players design the cooking process inside each truck. As new ingredients and appliances become available, players can automate workflows, create new recipes, and serve different customer groups more effectively.
Expand Into New Territory
As the business grows, players can send trucks into new areas with different food preferences and customer habits.
Some locations may draw wealthy lunch crowds with stronger competition, while others may focus on industrial workers or late-night partygoers. City-wide events can also create major payout opportunities for players who adapt their menus and routes.
Playable at Gamescom
Food Truck Empire will be playable at Gamescom in the Indie Arena Booth, located in Hall 10.2, Booth F010g – E019.
The extended demo is available now on Steam, and the game is planned to launch on PC later this year.
