Sega released a new Crazy Taxi: World Tour trailer during gamescom Opening Night Live, giving players a first look at the upcoming driving action game’s multiplayer modes.
The game is set to launch in 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Multiplayer Hits the Streets
Crazy Taxi: World Tour turns the city into a shared space where drivers compete for passengers and fight for control of the streets.
The trailer shows rival cabbies chasing fares, finding shortcuts, and creating the kind of loud multiplayer chaos that fits Crazy Taxi’s arcade roots.
Familiar Drivers Return
Axel will not be the only driver on the road.
The trailer confirms the return of Gena, B.D. Joe, and Gus, who will join the competition when Crazy Taxi: World Tour launches next year.
Classic Soundtrack Picks Are Back
The new trailer uses Bad Religion’s “Ten in 2010,” one of several songs returning from the original Crazy Taxi soundtrack.
Sega also confirmed “All I Want” and “Change the World” by The Offspring, along with “Them and Us” and “Inner Logic” by Bad Religion. More soundtrack details, including new artists, will be revealed later.
Closed Network Test Sign-Ups End Soon
Sega is now accepting applications for the Crazy Taxi: World Tour Multiplayer Closed Network Test.
The test will run from September 11 through September 13 in select regions. Applications are open until August 31, giving selected players an early chance to try the game’s online multiplayer modes.
