Ubisoft has released a new Rayman Legends Retold game overview and accessibility spotlight detailing the assistance, visual, input, and readability options available when the game launches on December 3, 2026.
Players can independently enable or disable each accessibility setting during solo and co-op play, allowing different players to adjust the experience around their preferences.
Fairy Blessing Can Assist After Repeated Deaths
One of the main gameplay assistance options is Fairy Blessing.
After repeated deaths at the same checkpoint, Betilla can offer the player the ability. Activating it grants invulnerability, flight, and self-revival.
Players can accept or decline Betilla’s offer, permanently turn off the prompt, activate Fairy Blessing directly from the settings menu, or speak with Betilla to use it manually.
Autoshoot and Automatic Actions Reduce Inputs
Rayman Legends Retold includes several options to reduce repeated or demanding button inputs.
Autoshoot can handle shooting during Dragon Rides, while certain actions support hold or toggle settings. Fairy Blaze, Fairy Radiance, and Tickling interactions can also be automated.
The game contains no quick time events.
High Contrast and Arachnophobia Modes Included
Visual settings include High Contrast Mode, highlighting for gameplay elements, and adjustable HUD backgrounds.
An Arachnophobia Mode removes background spiders.
Subtitle options include multiple text sizes, adjustable background opacity, speaker names, and an alternate sans-serif font.
Important gameplay information will also avoid relying exclusively on audio cues.
Full Control Remapping Across Platforms
Players can fully remap controls across supported platforms.
The PC version supports keyboard and mouse alongside controllers, while additional comfort settings include adjustable vibration strength, camera shake controls, individual audio sliders, and axis inversion during ride sequences.
