Roco Kingdom has launched “Roco 101,” a beginner video series introducing its creature-collecting adventure and Jini battles. Morefun Studios and Tencent shared the guides as the game’s “Quack Quack” closed beta approaches its second week.
The first two episodes are available on YouTube, offering a step-by-step introduction for players learning to navigate Carosia. Playtest signups periodically reopen, with invitations continuing to roll out in waves.
Learn How Jinies Differ Before Building Your Team
Jinies vary in talent, personality, size, color, and specialty. Personality affects a creature’s stats and behavior, while its specialty provides an individual skill. Bloodline determines which skills a Jini can learn, adding another consideration when assembling your team.
The beta includes more than 210 Jinies, including two Legendary Jinies and 16 Chromatic variants. Morefun plans to offer over 400 Jinies when the full game launches.
You can test your recruits in PvE activities such as Alpha Battles and Blossom Battles, or challenge other players in turn-based PvP. The Roco 101 series is intended to help newcomers understand the adventure and prepare for those battles.
Closed Beta Includes Story Content and Co-op Activities
Approved players can experience part of the main storyline and join friends for the test’s available modes. Social activities include riding Jinies together, holding hands, and visiting other players’ homesteads.
The full game also promises cross-platform parties, decorating, and farming. These activities sit alongside collecting and battling, giving your group other ways to spend time together.
Morefun says the free-to-play release will have no pay-to-win mechanics or Jinies restricted behind paywalls. The studio also says all story content will be freely accessible.
More Playtest Invitations Are Planned
Signups are not continuously open, so prospective players should check the official news page for testing updates and invitation information.
Roco Kingdom is planned for Windows PC, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, and Android. A global release date has not been announced. You can pre-register through the official website.
