Square-Enix has confirmed the release date for its upcoming FFXIII sequel in all regions today. Japan will receive the game first on December 15th of this year, following closely in North America on January 31st, and then February 3rd in Europe soon after.
Square has also announced the release of a special FFXIII-2 themed 320GB PS3 bundle that will release alongside the game. Its design is very similar to its 2009 predecessor, but with some color palette changes and differing Lightning stock. The pack will cost ¥37,960 when it goes on sale.
