Kingdom Hearts Unchained X Unlocks iOS and Android Devices

The newest installment in Square Enix’s critically acclaimed Kingdom Hearts series, Kingdom Hearts Unchained X (pronounced key”), is now available for iOS and Android devices. The game has gameplay similarities to that of its action RPG predecessors, but in a 2D way that makes the game a better fit for mobile devices. Franchise director Tetsuya Nomura commented on the game’s release:

“We wanted to thank all the KINGDOM HEARTS fans for patiently waiting for the launch of KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained χ in North America.  We would love for everyone to dive into the world of KINGDOM HEARTS not only through this title, but through the upcoming titles, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and KINGDOM HEARTS III. As an origins story, there are many elements in the game that new players can enjoy. The game can also be easily picked up and played, so it would be great if fans new and old, take the opportunity to play the game.”

Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is now available for free on iOS and Android devices. For more information, check out the trailer above.
