Square Enix is hoping North American fans are nostalgic enough for JRPG video games to open their wallets when I Am Setsuna releases July 19, 2016 on PS4 and PC. The publisher has released new screenshots and a new video illustrating the RPG of yesteryear.
I Am Setsuna is developed at Square Enix’s Tokyo RPG Factory, a studio specializing in Japanese RPGs. The story follows the heroine Setsuna as she sets out to untraveled areas with her bodyguards in order to save her people. Accompanying Setsuna, her bodyguard Edir, a skilled mercenary “whose destiny is changed upon meeting Setsuna.”
