After the release of Final Fantasy XVI earlier this year, Square Enix announced that it would receive two paid story DLC expansions. The DLC was officially unveiled tonight at the Game Awards, one titled Echoes of the Fallen and a second titled The Rising Tide.
An even bigger surprise is that the first of these DLC episodes, Echoes of the Fallen, is available today. The Rising Tide is set for a spring 2024 release. Both are also included in the Final Fantasy XVI Expansion Pass at a discount compared to buying them separately.
