Today, Japanese publisher Furyu Corporation announced that pre-purchase is now live for Varlet, a bold new high school RPG coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on August 28, 2025. Switch players can pre-order the Standard Edition now for $59.99, while a Deluxe Digital Edition will launch across all platforms for $79.99, loaded with exclusive digital extras.
Set in a school teetering between reality and an otherworldly dimension called “the Glitch,” Varlet casts players as a transfer student who uncovers a disturbing secret—some of their classmates are being replaced by monsters. As part of the Student Support Services (SSS), it’s your job to protect your peers, explore emotional bonds, and navigate increasingly surreal dangers that threaten the very foundation of the academy.
