The shopkeeping-dungeon-crawling hybrid is back. During Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025, 11 bit studios and Digital Sun Games revealed that Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will launch into Early Access on October 23rd for Steam and the Windows Store.
Will’s New Journey in Tresna
The sequel picks up with protagonist Will, now stranded in the mysterious village of Tresna after becoming tangled in an interdimensional mess. Players will once again balance their double life of looter and merchant, dodge rolling and fighting through dangerous dungeons by night, while running a bustling shop by day.
Early Access will allow players to experience much of Will’s new journey, including the updated combat system, expanded shop management, and a fresh narrative set in Tresna.
Early Access Features
From the start, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault offers a substantial slice of its full vision:
- Three biomes to explore, each with unique enemies.
- 120+ relics to collect and sell in your shop.
- An updated combat system with four main weapons and smoother controls.
- Nearly 100 perks across dungeons and shop management.
- A significant portion of the story campaign is available at launch.
Players can expect further refinements and additions as development progresses, with the Early Access phase intended to polish the remaining parts of Will’s adventure.
