Owlcat Games, in partnership with Alcon Interactive Group, unveiled a new look at The Expanse: Osiris Reborn during gamescom, showcasing its richly detailed environments. The upcoming narrative-driven sci-fi RPG is set in the acclaimed universe of The Expanse, the hit TV series available on Blu-ray and streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
The new video highlights several iconic locations players will encounter, including the industrial sprawl of Pinkwater, the fragile ecosystems of Ganymede, and the bustling corridors of Ceres Station.
“Every place in The Expanse tells a story,” said Alexander Mishulin, Creative Director at Owlcat Games. “When we recreate locations like Ganymede or Ceres, it’s not just about making them look authentic — it’s about capturing the struggles and hopes of the people who live there. That sense of survival and consequence is what we want players to feel as they move through the game.”

Set against the backdrop of humanity’s colonization of the solar system, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn introduces players to a new perspective within the series’ universe. You’ll step into the boots of a Pinkwater Security mercenary caught in the chaos of Eros Station’s deadly lockdown. From there, it’s up to you to gather a crew, command a ship, and navigate the political and personal tensions pulling the system toward war.
