The Witch’s Bakery is heading to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, bringing its cozy baking RPG to Nintendo’s next console alongside its previously announced platforms. Developer Sunny Lab, working with publisher Silver Lining Interactive, confirmed the game will launch in Q2 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The Switch 2 version puts the full experience in players’ hands, letting Lunne’s bakery life play out anywhere, with no content cuts announced between platforms.
Strong Early Interest Ahead of Launch
Interest in The Witch’s Bakery continues to build ahead of release. The game has already passed 90,000 wishlists on Steam, positioning it as one of the more closely watched cozy RPGs heading into 2026. To mark the Switch 2 announcement, the team also released a new trailer highlighting baking, exploration, and the game’s emotion-focused storytelling.
Physical Editions Coming to Consoles
Alongside the platform announcement, Sunny Lab and Silver Lining Interactive confirmed physical editions for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders are now open through Silver Lining Direct and select retailers.
Each boxed edition includes the full game and a digital cookbook inspired by the in-game recipes. Pricing is set at $34.99 across all three console versions.
A Cozy RPG Set in Modern Paris
In The Witch’s Bakery, you play as Lunne, a young witch who opens a bakery in modern Paris. Lunne can see into people’s hearts and heal emotional wounds through magic-infused baking. Each in-game day is divided into three phases, balancing shop management, exploration, and personal growth.
Daytime focuses on running the bakery and serving customers. Evenings open up the city, letting Lunne build relationships, take on activities, and step inside the emotional struggles of others. Nights allow for rest, upgrades, decoration, and time spent improving magic abilities.
Healing Hearts Through Baking and Magic
A core mechanic of The Witch’s Bakery involves entering a character’s “Heart Palace,” a magical space shaped by their emotions. Inside, Lunne confronts personified feelings and uncovers the key ingredient needed to bake a bread that helps heal them. These sequences tie the game’s narrative, progression, and baking systems together.
The Witch’s Bakery is scheduled to launch in Q2 2026 across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
