Fumi Games and PlaySide Studios have released a brand-new gameplay trailer for Mouse: P.I. For Hire, showcasing an explosive new boss encounter.
The footage premiered at the Convergence Showcase and introduces Robo-Betty, a previously unseen boss who lurks deep within a secret laboratory in the crime-ridden city of Mouseburg.
Meet Robo-Betty
Robo-Betty resides in the depths of a hidden lab and serves as one of the game’s standout boss encounters. Players will face her in an intense three-stage battle, escalating in spectacle and danger as the fight progresses.
The trailer teases dynamic attack patterns, environmental hazards, and the manic, over-the-top energy that defines the game’s chaotic combat.
Rubber Hose Noir Mayhem
Mouse: P.I. For Hire draws heavily on 1930s animation and classic noir cinema. Its black-and-white, rubber hose art style is hand-drawn frame by frame, delivering a distinctive vintage cartoon aesthetic rarely seen in modern first-person shooters.
Underneath the stylized visuals lies fast-paced, boomer shooter-inspired action. Players can expect explosive FPS combat featuring a wild arsenal of creatively twisted firearms, experimental weapons, and relentless enemy encounters.
From lethal mobsters to towering boss battles like Robo-Betty, the citizens of Mouseburg won’t go down without a fight.
