Red Dunes Games, in close collaboration with Agate, has officially announced Port of Jumanah, a vibrant, stylised 2.5D action-adventure launching on PC and consoles in 2026.
Inspired by the real-life pearl divers of Eastern Arabia, Port of Jumanah invites players to dive into a surreal maritime odyssey packed with myth, mystery, and fast-paced combat.
Dive Into a Mythic Ocean Adventure
Players step into the fins of Mansour, a young diver swept into a whimsical and dangerous underwater world. Tasked with recovering six corrupted Black Pearls, Mansour must navigate treacherous depths filled with strange sea creatures, hidden treasures, and formidable foes.
From breathtaking caverns to glowing bioluminescent trenches, each descent offers new discoveries and new dangers. Peculiar flora and aggressive marine life lurk in every chamber, ensuring that exploration is never without risk.
Fast Combat Meets Roguelite Progression
Port of Jumanah blends swift, satisfying combat with roguelite structure. Chamber-based underwater regions are filled with enemies, power-ups, rescue missions, and tactics-testing boss encounters. Completing dives allows players to return to port, upgrade their equipment, recruit crew members, and strengthen their chances of surviving future expeditions.
A strategic pre-dive loadout system lets players choose weapons, gadgets, regions, and companions before each plunge. Crew members provide passive abilities and buffs, adding depth and variety to every run.
The game draws inspiration from titles such as Cult of the Lamb, Juicy Realm, and Hades, combining colorful characters, replayability, and story-driven exploration into a cohesive high-seas adventure.
A Bonkers Story Beneath the Waves
Between dives, players return to the bustling port to advance both the main storyline and a variety of side quests. Along the way, they’ll encounter a cast of quirky characters, including pirates, genies, townsfolk, and other unexpected personalities. According to the developers, the unfolding narrative is delightfully chaotic, the kind of tale you’ll want to share with your company.
Players can expect roughly six hours to complete the main story, with an additional four hours available for completionists seeking every achievement.
