Dragon Quest Smash/Grow Launches Dragon Quest I Collaboration Event

Square Enix has launched a new Dragon Quest I collaboration event in Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, bringing content inspired by the original entry in the long-running RPG series. The event is available now and runs through June 16 UTC.

Alongside the collaboration, Square Enix also released the first episode of DQSG Classified Report, a new video update series designed to share regular news and updates with players.

Explore the World of Dragon Quest I

During the event, players can explore the world of Dragon Quest I, speak with townspeople, and complete new story quests. Event missions reward DQ1 gold coins, which can be exchanged for items through the in-game swap shop.

The new storyline also unlocks challenge content, including Fearsome Foe: Green Dragon, where players earn a rank and rewards based on how much damage they deal within the time limit.

Dragon Quest Smash Grow Erdrick

Erdrick’s Equipment and Login Bonuses Added

The event also introduces limited-time Erdrick’s Equipment, including Erdrick’s Sword. The weapon features the Gigaslash Coup de Grâce, a lightning attack that sends enemies flying, along with the Zapple Swords Enchantment, which follows normal attacks with an extra lightning strike.

Players can also claim new login bonuses during the event, with up to 1,200 gems available.
