Final Fantasy X for PS Vita and PS3 is a Remaster, not a Remake

At Tokyo Games Show last year, Square Enix first announced that Final Fantasy X would be coming to PS Vita and PS3 as part of its 10th anniversary. The publisher has now confirmed that the title is a “remaster” and not a “remake” of the original game.

“It’s being developed as an HD Remaster, but the visuals will be much more beautiful than before,” Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto said [via Siliconera]. “Please look forward to it!”
