The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 will launch into Early Access on Steam on September 17, 2026, bringing the medieval tycoon series back to its economic-simulation roots.
The game has also received a new name to better reflect its connection to the original Europa 1400: The Guild.
A New Name for a Clearer Pitch
The project will now be known as The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410.
The name change comes after fan feedback, with THQ Nordic noting that many players know the series through The Guild 2 or The Guild 3. Those games leaned more into life-sim elements, personal drama, romance, and character-driven systems.
Europa 1410 is aiming for something closer to the first game.
Built Around Medieval Business
The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 focuses on business strategy, dynasty management, political scheming, and ruthless entrepreneurship.
Rather than directly controlling individual characters through life-sim routines, players make decisions from a bird’s-eye view that affect their business, family, and city.
