Nivalis Nights Developer Q&A Videos Show Cyberpunk City Life

505 Games and Ion Lands have released three new Nivalis Nights developer Q&A videos ahead of the cyberpunk life and management sim’s September 29 launch on Steam.

The videos cover what the game is, what players can do, and how they can travel through the ocean-side city.

Life in Nivalis

Nivalis Nights returns to the city from Cloudpunk, this time with a slower focus on daily life, business management, and building a place for yourself.

Players can meet citizens, hear their stories, make friends, find customers, and possibly find romance while settling into the neon-lit city.

Build a Business From the Ground Up

Players can start small with a noodle stand or bar, then grow into larger restaurants and nightclubs.

Running a business means managing menus, sourcing ingredients, buying from markets, growing food, fishing, and expanding as demand rises. The game also lets players decorate their home or buy a new residence high above the city.

Getting Around the City

Nivalis is split across four districts, with several ways to travel between them.

Players can walk, use taxis, take the metro, or ride a boat through the city’s waterways. The new Q&A video focuses on how those transit options help players move between districts, alleys, squares, and waterfront areas.

Nivalis Nights launches for PC via Steam on September 29, 2026.

An Epic Games Store release is also planned for a later date, with more details coming in the weeks ahead.
