Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics have released the ninth Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis mini-documentary, this time focusing on the creatures Lara will face in Greece.
The episode follows last week’s look at the region and explains how the team approached enemy behavior, combat, and creature design.
New Creatures Await in Greece
Game Director Raul Siqueira said Greece will introduce several new creatures for Lara to fight.
Each creature has its own behavior, pushing players to read attack patterns and adjust their approach to combat.
Siqueira said the goal is to make players feel like Lara is usually in control until a creature forces them to rethink that confidence.
Leopards Reward Quick Reactions
One of the new threats is the Leopard.
Its stealth-focused behavior can catch players off guard, making fast reactions and Lara’s acrobatic movement important during encounters.
Crocodiles Dominate the Water
Crocodiles will also appear in the Greek ruins.
They have an advantage underwater, but the developers warn they remain dangerous on land as well, giving players another enemy type that changes how they approach an area.
Greece Continues to Expand
The new mini-doc builds on the previous Greece episode, which focused on the area’s architecture, puzzles, and the reworked Sword of Damocles sequence.
This latest entry puts the spotlight on combat and how different creatures affect Lara’s movement and tactics.
Launching February 12
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis launches February 12, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
The ninth behind-the-scenes episode is available now alongside a new developer blog focused on the creatures of Greece.
