Springs, Eternal opens its mysterious hot springs retreat on November 11, 2026, on PC via Steam. Publisher Serenity Forge and Gone Home and Tacoma developer Fullbright announced the release date during the Horror Game Awards’ Harvest of Terror Showcase.
A free Steam demo is available now and will also feature in Steam Next Fest, running October 19–26.
Explore Stillwater Springs After Dark
Springs, Eternal is a first-person narrative exploration game set at Stillwater Springs, a secluded retreat surrounded by fog-covered mountains.
You’ll wander its paths, pools, and caverns at night, meeting unusual guests and learning their stories through branching conversations. Lo-fi visuals use shimmering pixels and dithered fog to create the resort’s uneasy atmosphere.
Fullbright describes the game as a short, focused experience with supernatural elements. Its dark paths suggest danger, though the announcement leaves the question of your mortality hanging.
Guest Conversations Connect to Your Past
More than a dozen characters populate the retreat. What you learn from one guest can spark new conversations and interactions with others, encouraging you to revisit people as your understanding grows.
Alongside those encounters, flashbacks trace the romantic relationship that brought the protagonist to Stillwater Springs. Fragmented memories gradually form a picture of the couple’s life together and their connection to the resort.
The map expands as you explore, revealing additional locations and giving you more opportunities to investigate how the guests’ stories connect to your own.
