Tripwire Presents is expanding its publishing business with a program focused on smaller independent developers. The initiative offers support tailored to each game, covering promotion, storefront opportunities, pricing strategy, public relations, creator outreach, and events.
Tripwire Interactive’s publishing division will work with games at several stages, including before release, during Early Access, and after launch. Its first lineup includes The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire, Starforged Legacy, Mars Attracts, One-Eyed Likho, and Eslabong.
Publishing Support Tailored to Smaller Teams
Tripwire says the program will use its existing player community, platform relationships, and publishing experience to help developers reach a larger audience. Support also includes guidance on discounts, sale timing, promotional schedules, and managing a game after release.
Publishing Director Bryan West described the initiative as a way to bring additional attention to self-published games whose developers have already handled both development and promotion. The company says its partnerships will remain flexible, with the aim of giving creators the greatest benefit from their games’ success.
Five Games Lead the Initiative
The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire combines action, simulation, and criminal empire management. BEF Games’ title left Early Access on October 27 and costs $18.99, with a 20% discount through November 10. A free demo is available.
Starforged Legacy, from Second Shift Games, is a single-player sci-fi action roguelike. You build a spacecraft with salvaged weapons and augmentations, and resources from failed runs contribute to permanent progression. It is in Steam Early Access for $7.99.
Mars Attracts puts you in charge of a Martian amusement park populated by abducted humans. Outlier Games’ Mars Attacks-based management sim recently left Early Access and costs $24.99. A free update has added another enclosure type and limited-time Halloween decorations.
One-Eyed Likho, from Black Book developer Morteshka, draws on Slavic folklore for a first-person horror adventure. Fire-based puzzles and monochromatic artwork shape its encounters with the malevolent Likho. It is available for $19.99.
Eslabong combines tactical strategy with mercenary club management in solo or co-op play. Developed by shirowita, it features changing rosters, randomized stats, and seasonal league and cup competitions. The Steam Early Access release costs $14.99 and has a free demo.
Tripwire plans to share more information about the initiative and additional titles later. You can follow the program through its official publishing page.
