Nomura’s New Game is a Dissidia Sequel

So, what the hell Nomura? Square-Enix has announced in Jump that the follow-up to Dissidia is real and currently in development at the studio.

The new game is pegged as Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy and is tentatively set for a PSP release in 2011. The magazine has stated that Final Fantasy XIII’s Lightning and Final Fantasy IV’s Kain will make their respective appearances as playable characters.

It is likely Nomura’s mystery game that he plans will make its debut at the Tokyo Game Show. What’s even more surprising, given these crossovers, is that Lightning will make a cameo appearance in The 3rd Birthday to which our Copy Editor exclaimed, “how on earth is lightning going to appear in 3rd birthday.”

Thanks to Andriasang.com for the information.

So when are you working on Versus XIII?
