Final Fantasy’s 30th Anniversary Celebration Approaches!

Square Enix has released a number of details about their plans for 2017, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Final Fantasy series. In addition to Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age receiving a release date, details about the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy XV‘s Gladio DLC have been revealed.

As seen above, the Final Fantasy VII Remake has a new piece of key art, depicting Cloud Strife and his iconic Buster Sword, alongside the villainous Sephiroth, in front of the Shinra Company building, reminiscent of Final Fantasy VII‘s original cover art.

Episode Gladio, Final Fantasy XV‘s first piece of storyline DLC, received a release date. The Episode will be available on March 28th, for both Season Pass holders and players who wish to purchase it separately. Fan-favorite series boss Gilgamesh will be a part of Gladio’s story.

The Booster Pack, both the free and paid versions, will be released on February 21st. These include powerful items, such as a suit that makes you invincible for 30 minutes, which can only be used once every 24 hours. Episode Prompto, the next storyline DLC, also received a released window of June 2017.
