Star Ocean 4 Release Date Moved Up a Week

The release of tri-Ace’s Star Ocean: The Last Hope has been moved forward and will arrive in North America on February 24 instead of March 3.

Publisher Square-Enix did not offer any comments as to why the release date was moved, except a press release noting that the date was changed.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope marks the fourth entry in the action-RPG series and the first time the franchise has arrived onto the Xbox 360. While it has not been explicitly stated as an exclusive title to the console, it has yet to be announced on other platforms.

IGN posted a huge questionaire of fan questions on this. Shall I edit them in to give us a better look?

This would make me happy…if I lived in America. But then again at least it’s only 2 months after that until the EU release of the game, so the wait isn’t too bad.

    Go for it Zack.

A push forward in release date is always a rarity, but all the more reason why it’s an amazing feeling when I find out about it.

Here’s hoping for the ‘The Last Hope’ to really pull through for 360 JRPGs this year.
