XSEED Games has dropped the final two English character trailers for The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-, giving fans a closer look at the Special Defense Unit—a group of warriors tasked with protecting their academy for 100 days. As part of the ongoing “100 Days to Launch” campaign, these trailers mark the final reveals before the game’s release on April 24, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
From Kazutaka Kodaka (Danganronpa) and Kotaro Uchikoshi (Zero Escape), The Hundred Line blends adventure storytelling, tactical RPG combat, and brutal decision-making, leading players to multiple despair-filled endings.
Meet the Special Defense Unit
The Special Defense Unit is made up of warriors, misfits, and outright killers. Here are the final characters revealed:
- Yugamu Omokage (“Teenage Assassin”) – A trained killer who believes murder should be done with love. Enjoys torture and dissection.
- Kyoshika Magadori (“Ninja Samurai”) – A skilled yet clueless swordswoman who treats her katana like a close companion.
- Hiruko Shizuhara (“Ice Queen”) – The ruthless leader of the Special Defense Unit. Cold, calculating, and enjoys slaughtering invaders.
- Tsubasa Kawana (“Star Mechanic”) – A bright, energetic tech genius who gets nauseous under pressure.
- Takemaru Yakushiji (“Gangster with a Heart of Gold”) – A delinquent with a strong moral code—fights for honor, never to bully.
- Shoma Ginzaki (“Waste of Space”) – A self-deprecating guy with zero confidence. Even he admits he’s useless.
- Moko Mojiro (“Cheerful and Lively Super Wrestler”) – A rising high school pro wrestling star who faces every problem head-on.
- Nozomi Kirifuji (“Healer”) – A kind-hearted medic hiding a mysterious connection to protagonist Takumi’s childhood friend.
- Sirei & Nigou – A pair of strange robot commanders leading the Special Defense Unit into battle.
Each character brings their strengths, weaknesses, and twisted personalities into the fight.
