Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4, titled “For the Sun is Set to Die,” blasts off on July 2 with brand-new lore, characters, and content across Server Regions. This mid-year update introduces a pivotal expansion of the Era Nova storyline—plus fan-favorite faces from Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] join the roster.
Era Nova Deepens – Phainon Takes the Spotlight
- Phainon officially joins your team in a multi-chapter main quest lasting through early Amphoreus. Raised as a Chrysos Heir, he’s a protective force: calm, poised, and ready to ignite.
- His gameplay flips the script: gathering Coreflames lets him transform and create a Territory, power up with new abilities, and invisibly buff teammates, plus raise your Technique Point cap for explosive map exploration.
Fate/stay night Collab Begins July 11
- Saber (5★ Wind, Path of Destruction) enters with a classic Excalibur Ultimate that strikes all enemies and refills energy via Core Resonance.
- Archer (5★ Quantum, Path of the Hunt) unleashes auto-turn Skills and his Unlimited Blade Works Ultimate—fueling teammates with Follow-up Attacks.
- Trailblaze Continuance: Sweet Dreams & the Holy Grail War launches July 11, granting free access to Archer (and later Saber) via event login and banner rewards until Version 3.6.
Return of 5★ Originals + Reworks
The first half of the version brings back Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle; later, Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade return. Notably, Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jingliu receive combat adjustments and Eidolon boosts. Plus, a brand-new Spring Missive outfit debuts for Firefly.
