Digital Extremes has launched Warframe: Isleweaver, the free summer update now available on all platforms, including the newly released Nintendo Switch 2. Coming off the heels of Warframe: 1999, Isleweaver weaves new threads into the game’s sprawling sci-fi mythos—introducing the long-awaited spider-themed Warframe, Oraxia, and setting the stage for a new Clan Operation and fresh Duviri expansion.
Oraxia, dubbed the “Spiderframe” by fans and devs alike, brings web-slinging, wall-clinging mobility to the game for the first time, complete with summoned spiderlings and two signature weapons: the Scyotid barb-throwing weapon and the Spinnerex poison whip. She can be unlocked through in-game progression or purchased instantly from the Warframe Marketplace.
“We finally got the opportunity to work on ‘Spiderframe,’” said Pablo Alonso, Design Director at Digital Extremes. “We’ve had her in mind for years, but Isleweaver gave us the space to really make her shine.”
