Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles 2 Trailer Shows Hashira Arc, Playable Muzan, and Infinity Castle Pass

SEGA has dropped a brand-new trailer for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, and it’s packed with exciting teases and major reveals ahead of the game’s Advanced Access launch next week.

The trailer offers a dramatic look at everything included in the sequel up through the Hashira Training Arc, setting the stage for the next emotional showdown in Tanjiro’s journey. It also delivers a taste of VS Mode gameplay, showcasing the latest additions to the character roster and their flashy combat abilities in the arena.

Post-Launch DLC Plans and Free Updates Revealed

SEGA also confirmed a wave of post-launch content for Hinokami Chronicles 2, including:

  • Infinity Castle Arc Character Pass – A premium character DLC pack featuring fighters from the intense upcoming arc of the anime.
  • Muzan Kibutsuji Joins VS Mode – The King of Demons himself will be playable via a free update after launch. This marks the first time Muzan is fully playable in the series’ arena fighting format.

These updates promise to expand the game well beyond launch, giving Demon Slayer fans more reasons to keep battling it out online and offline.

Pre-Order Bonuses and Early Access

Players who pre-order the game will get a variety of in-game bonuses, with more details available on the official website.

What is Demon Slayer: Hinokami Chronicles 2?

Hinokami Chronicles 2 is the sequel to 2021’s The Hinokami Chronicles, a 3D arena fighter and story retelling of the Demon Slayer anime. The sequel builds on the original with:

  • Expanded story mode through the Hashira Training Arc
  • Refined combat and new mechanics in VS Mode
  • Additional characters from recent arcs
  • Improved visuals and performance
