XSEED Games has announced that Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch in early 2026. Developed by Nihon Falcom, the action-RPG revisits a pivotal chapter in Adol Christin’s journey, following directly after the events of Ys X. This updated release gives players the option to experience the original soundtrack or a newly rearranged score, while retaining the fast-paced action combat and expansive mapping system that helped define the series.
Day One Edition Revealed
Alongside the announcement, XSEED unveiled a special Day One Edition for $59.99. Available via the Marvelous USA Online Store and participating retailers, this edition comes packed with collectibles, including:
- A copy of Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta on Nintendo Switch
- 3-D acrylic keychain/diorama set
- Two-disc OST featuring 36 tracks
- A set of five character art cards
- A cloth map of Celceta (21” x 14”)
- An outer box with exclusive artwork
A Defining Chapter in the Ys Legacy
Originally seen as a turning point for the series, Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta bridges the gap between earlier entries and the systems that would later shape Ys VIII and beyond. Players will guide Adol through a land full of duplicitous schemes, dangerous landscapes, and secretive characters, piecing together both the mysteries of Celceta and Adol’s own past.
The game’s party-based combat emphasizes switching tactics on the fly, allowing allies to learn new abilities mid-battle for dynamic encounters. Exploration is equally essential, with the series’ trademark mapping system encouraging players to chart out Celceta’s treacherous terrain in detail.
With its mix of strategic action, exploration, and enhanced music, Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta brings a foundational RPG chapter to the Nintendo Switch for the first time.
