Funcom has announced a new open-world survival game taking place in the world of Conan the Barbarian, titles Conan Exiles. The game will have you take the role of an exile, cast out to fend for yourself in a barbaric wasteland full of enemies and other obstacles.
Growing crops and hunting for food will be as essential to survival as building shelter and fighting off enemies. Though primarily a multiplayer game, Conan Exiles will also have a single-player mode. Fredrik Malmberg, CEO of Conan Properties commented:
“What Funcom is doing with ‘CONAN EXILES’ is capturing the essence of Conan and his world. The fight for survival in Conan’s savage world has been chronicled in comics, movies, and novels, and now you too will get to experience the same struggle to achieve domination over the exiled lands.”
