Final Fantasy VII Rebirth TGS Stage Show Reveals Mog House and Other Mini-Games

Many details about the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth have been revealed lately through trailers and interviews, and now the TGS stage show has provided us with even more information. In addition to things such as exploration, swimming, and a closer look at Red XIII’s combat, the stage show went on to demonstrate how the player can follow Chocobo footprints to capture and ride a Chocobo.

Chadley from Final Fantasy VII Remake also returns for you to develop new types of Materia by working with him, along with a new mechanic where activating communication towers across the map marks areas for you to investigate. Many other additions were also shown, as well as a look at some of the mini-games that will appear.

Mog House from the original game, a new card game called Queen’s Blood, and a piano-playing rhythm game were all among the mini-games shown, with a demonstration given of the piano game. The mini-games are shown starting around 1:04:09 in the stage show video below.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be out on February 29, 2024 for the PlayStation 5. If TGS has made one thing clear, it’s that players have an abundance of activities to look forward to.
