Square Enix Cafe & Shop Locations Opening in Los Angeles and Shinjuku

Square Enix has announced plans to open permanent Square Enix Cafe & Shop locations in Los Angeles and Shinjuku, Tokyo. Both locations are currently scheduled to open in Spring 2026, with exact opening dates to be announced later.

The cafes will feature menu items inspired by multiple Square Enix franchises, while the attached shop spaces will sell official merchandise.

Los Angeles Location Marks a U.S. First

The Los Angeles cafe will be the first official Square Enix cafe in the U.S. to offer a full, authentic menu. It will be located at 316 E 1st St., Los Angeles, California 90012, and operated by J-Pop Culture Cafe Inc.

The new location gives Square Enix a permanent cafe and retail presence in Los Angeles, with food, drinks, and merchandise aimed at fans of the publisher’s games.

Shinjuku Cafe Also Opening in Tokyo

The Shinjuku location will open at PASELABO TOWER 1F / 2F / 3F, 3-36-1 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan. It will be operated by Newton Corporation.

Square Enix says more details on both Cafe & Shop locations, including their opening dates and menus, will be shared later.
