To close out last night’s Game Awards, host Geoff Keighley showed off the trailer for Highguard — the newest title from Apex Legends and Titanfall developers.
From developer Wildlight Entertainment, Highguard puts players in the role of a “Warden” — arcane gunslingers who battle one another to control a mythical continent. While taking each other on, players will invade and destroy one another’s bases in order to win in what is described in the press release as “a new breed of shooter.”
The free-to-play PvP game is set to release for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on January 26, 2026.
