Dosa Divas: One Last Meal Launches April 14 with Turn-Based Combat and Heartfelt Story

Outerloop Games has announced that Dosa Divas: One Last Meal, its flavorful narrative-driven turn-based RPG, will launch on April 14, 2026, for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The game will be priced at $19.99, with a playable demo available now on Steam.

Originally revealed during Summer Game Fest 2024 as part of the Outersloth funding initiative, Dosa Divas blends heartfelt storytelling, community-driven themes, and imaginative turn-based combat into a vibrant adventure centered around food, family, and cultural identity.

Sisters, Spirit-Mechs, and One Last Meal

Dosa Divas: One Last Meal follows sisters Samara and Amani, who reunite after years apart to take on a corrupt fast-food empire threatening their communities. Traveling alongside their ancient spirit-mech, the duo reconnects with estranged friends and family while battling corporate goons in expressive, narrative-focused turn-based combat.

The game’s story emphasizes healing fractured relationships, rediscovering shared traditions, and confronting the emotional baggage that comes with time and distance.

Turn-Based Combat with Heart and Heat

Combat in Dosa Divas blends traditional turn-based mechanics with narrative context, often pitting players against former friends or loved ones to help them reconcile past wounds. Battles are about growth, forgiveness, and rebuilding trust.

As players progress, they can customize and evolve their spirit-mech, unlocking both mechanical upgrades and fantastical abilities that influence traversal, cooking, and combat encounters.

Food as Culture, Community, and Connection

Food plays a central role in Dosa Divas, serving as more than a simple gameplay mechanic. Players discover new recipes through exploration and dialogue, then cook meals to strengthen bonds, heal communities, and restore cultural traditions.

By sharing food with friends, family, and villagers, players open new story paths and deepen relationships, reinforcing the game’s core theme that meals are shared memories and sometimes, a way forward.
