Serenity Forge and Fullbright have announced that Springs, Eternal will launch on Steam this November.
The lo-fi first-person story exploration game takes players to Stillwater Springs, a secluded mountain retreat filled with strangers, memories, and late-night unease.
Check In to Stillwater Springs
Springs, Eternal begins with players driving up a mountain road to Stillwater Springs at dusk.
After arriving, players explore the retreat with a flashlight and map, moving through pools, saunas, caverns, and the grand lodge. Flashbacks also revisit moments from a past romantic relationship.
Talk to Guests and Piece Together Their Stories
The guests at Stillwater Springs each arrive with their own reasons.
Players can speak with them through branching dialogue, with actions tied to one character opening new topics with another. Those conversations help reveal who the guests are and how their stories connect to the player’s memories.
Lo-Fi Visuals and Vinyl Records
Springs, Eternal uses a dithered, pixelated look inspired by late ‘90s PC and console games.
Players can also collect playable vinyl records while moving through Stillwater’s landmarks and sorting through the retreat’s quiet mysteries.
Playable at PAX West and Tokyo Game Show
Springs, Eternal marks the third collaboration between Serenity Forge and Fullbright, following their work together on Gone Home and Tacoma.
The first playable demo will debut this month at PAX West and Tokyo Game Show 2026.
